What led you to Ayurveda?

For Naomi Uchida-Boas, it was the moment her doctor told her that there was nothing he could do about her chronic health issues. She had always eaten well, exercised, and did all the things she was told to do to stay healthy, but the things she was dealing with were beyond that. She was told that her only option was to take several medications for the rest of her life.

She took the opportunity to start researching her health issues and found Ayurveda. After seeing an Ayurvedic Practitioner for the first time and seeing the benefits firsthand, Naomi realized this is what she wanted to do.

Today, Naomi is an Ayurvedic Practitioner at SCU’s Health Clinic. She helps patients and works with students in the clinic, helping them pursue their dreams in Ayurveda.

My Ayurveda Morning Routine

In Ayurveda, the morning routine plays a vital role in promoting happiness and overall well-being. According to the Ayurvedic Clock, waking up 45 minutes before sunrise marks the initial step, and every aspect of your morning routine should be approached with intention and gratitude. Carving out personal time each day becomes crucial in preparing both the body and mind for the day ahead.
