The concept of Chakras has been enshrined in the various scriptures of ancient India. All the Vedas, the Puranas and the Upanishads accentuate a subtle connection between our physical, mental and spiritual health. Our body comprises of seven chakras namely Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna and Sahasrara. These chakras determine our overall wellbeing. It is proper functioning of all the chakras that ensures appropriate energy flow to all body parts including our vital organs. Thus chakra cleansing and balancing is needed to enjoy good health and happiness which translates to overall abundance in all spheres of life.
In this first episode, Neeta Singhal briefs us on all the seven chakras, their functions, associations and properties. Also, she talks about how opening and closing of the chakras impact us and the powerful techniques to energize them so that we can achieve health, empowerment and abundance.

We filmed this mega yacht review of M/Y Chakra in St. Kitts 2 days after I met the owner he asked me to fly down and shoot the boat and I wasted NO TIME!!!
The 86m or 282′ M/Y Chakra is an astounding megayacht, which we show in this luxury yacht tour. It was converted from a weather vessel by Devonport in 1998 and refit again in 2017. This luxury yacht conversion features a sundeck with a hot tub, gym, and dedicated yoga space, multiple common area salons, 3 aft deck spaces to hang out, and best of all, it can sleep up to 40 guests in 20 staterooms! It has a full beam master, and a full beam VIP, for added comfort. This megayacht even features an elevator for the lazy days. She’s truly a stunning vessel made for hosting and leisure.

I take a look at yet another Arch-based Linux distribution–Chakra. It is a distro focused on the KDE desktop and Qt technologies and features a rather unique half-rolling release model.
“Chakra” (circle) first emerge within the “Vedas” text the most authoritative Hindu text. The concept behind this logo is the state of the life i.e the birth, learning life sessions and ultimately the death, so i took the the three circles and created this swirl mark using golden ratio to represent the process of life lessions in the simplest form possible. It’s a bit of hard to know the meaning of this logo as i wanted it to be like that for my next brand mark so whatever you have and in this world watch and learn through your perspective and learn from it because “what you are, you are here for purpose”.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
– increases imagination and understanding
– improves your listening skills
– improves your own spoken accent
– learn while on the move
– reduce eye strain

Chakras (Sanskrit: चक्र, IAST: cakra, Pali: cakka, lit. wheel, circle) are the various focal points in the subtle body used in a variety of ancient meditation practices, collectively denominated as Tantra, or the esoteric or inner traditions of Indian religion, Chinese Taoism, Tibetan Buddhism, as well as Japanese Esoteric Buddhism, and in postmodernity, in New Age medicine, and originally psychologically adopted to the western mind through the assistance of Carl Jung.The concept is found in the early traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. They are treated as focal points, or putative nodes in the subtle body of the practitioner. These theories differ between the Indian religions, with many esoteric Buddhist texts consistently mentioning five Chakras, while separate esoteric Hindu sources will offer six, or even seven. They are believed to be embedded within the actual physical body, whilst also originating within the context of mental and spiritual fields, or complexes of electromagnetic variety, the precise degree and variety of which directly arise from a synthetic average of all positive and negative so-called “fields”, this eventuating the complex Nadi. Within kundalini yoga breath exercises, visualizations, mudras, bandhas, kriyas, and mantras are focused on transmuting subtle energy through “chakras”.

We all know that the Indian flag has the Ashok Chakra inscribed on it but very seldom have we pondered about why it is part of the flag or what it stands for.
This video will throw light on some of the unanswered questions. Initially the flag had a charka the symbol of self reliance during Gandhian times and was after independence changed to the Ashok Chakra. The Chakra represents the dharmachakra with 24 spokes. Each spoke has a virtue that it stands for.
The name Ashok Chakra is derived from the various edicts where it was found during Asoka’s time. It is in blue with a white background and was adopted on22nd July 1947. Another interesting feature is that the highest military award is also given by the same name.
It is also said that the chakra came into existence because of Buddha who after attaining enlightenment preached the dharmachakra to his disciples. This was taken up by Asoka and depicted in the edicts at Sarnath where the original preaching by Buddha had taken place. The 24 spokes represent dharma. It is also called as the Bhavachakra.
The size of the Ashok Chakra has not been specified in the flag code but all it says is that the 24 spokes must be evenly spaced. According to Dr. Radhakrishnan it was chosen to represent dharma and law.
Another belief is that the chakra according to Hindu religion represented the Puranas where it was said only 24 rishis could have the complete power over the Gayathri mantra the first rishi being Vishwamitra and Yagnavalkya the last. It is also thought that the 24 spokes represent the 24 letters of the Gayathri mantra.
One other connotation is that the chakra represents time and the 24 spokes are the 24 hours of the day.
